I need to check this thread more often, I love all of the recent music that's been posted. Especially since motorik has been mentioned: it's so niche, but probably my #1 "genre" of all time. Sometimes when I go back and listen to songs I've enjoyed 20 years ago, I suddenly realize that there's a motorik beat that's been staring me in the face for the whole time, before I knew what that even was. But I think that's stuff for another post. There's a band called Motor!k that pretty much sounds exactly like what you expect: motor!k - headlights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhQeK8Ku9oo motor!k - terra illustris pt. 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdHw9vRCs0s They have 4 albums now and they're pretty much all great. Also new Synth Gizzard is out! How do you all like it? I love the callbacks to PDA on the extended versions. And to reiterate what has been said further upthread, I think they're the only band (right now or ever?) that could pull of a pair of albums like this within a year. Such incredibly talented musicians. The incredible work ethic of releasing 2+ albums a year on average without sacrifing quality in the slightest. You can hear how much fun they're having on almost every record. Best band of our lifetime for sure. Also, unrelated but check out this cute bovine that reminded me of John Dwyer:

Oh boy KEXP rarely disappoints and is indeed frequently a source where I discover interesting music, but this one's a doozy. I'm pretty enamored with this chilenian krauty version of radiohead with two drummers that I somehow never heard of before.
