If you want to try Homestuck, I recommend reading the midnight crew Intermission first: https://www.homestuck.com/story/1154 It's a little self-contained story with a strong Problem Sleuth flavor, and you don't need to know anything going in. It skips the glacial pace of the early acts and it's full of the kind of weird timespace fuckery that you need to be on board with for the later Homestuck chapters. If you decide like it, then you can go back and start from act 1 with a better idea of where things are headed. If you don't like it, at least it didn't waste much of your time

I think Papyrus hits a better balance of fan popularity, move set and public recognition. Backtrack to the ruins and buy a spider donut. It's not that long when you know where you're going and enemies no longer attack after you clear the boss of an area. There's even new npcs to talk to! Please do not grind temmie flakes.

The Undertale dlc character should be Toriel, and all her moves should be like Isabelle, where all of the "attacks" are benign things that happen to do damage if they hit a player. She will have the most powerful grab in the game, where she takes the other character by the hand and starts leading them around. Does no damage, but takes priority over all other melee attacks and the character she's leading around looks really embarrassed the whole time
