Tressa is actually the most powerful mage in the game, on top of having a few incredibly useful skills. (With the right endgame setup, etc., but still!) Always looking for a bargain!

DB2 is very, very good, but I like DB1 better, and there are several other themes we're yet to hear that blow it out of the water. Which is impressive. Also DB2 definitely will play for a few of the Chapter 1 boss battles, I remember that when I was playing through myself and found it interesting.

For Light is really simple but I love its finish. (For Treasure is still the best of the fight lead-in themes, though.) Ophilia's theme is just really pretty, and the Frostlands music is also great. Basically, keep clicking all those music links, people, they're superb!

Super Butler is one of my favorite enemy sprites in the game, and the fact that he kicks significant rear end only helps. Also, Forbidding Corridors is probably my favorite regular dungeon theme in the game. I have lots of favorites in this game. There are so many good things to love!

I also want to restate something Mega already went over: Every character has full voicework for every ability in the game, in every class. It's an amazing amount of additional work and it has a ton of fantastic value in giving the characters more expression and individuality. also Cyrus shouting "the peacock shall STRUT  " is fantastic every time

Tressa was immediately switched to Hunter for me and remained there for nearly the entire game. The hat is too powerful.

This is one of the very, very few distinct sprites that Octopath Traveler has. The rest are mostly just stock motions that every character and NPC does in every cutscene and give little life to them - one of my issues with Octopath's storytelling - but this sprite adds a little bit of life to this interaction.
