Derek Brunson weighed in at almost literally the last second, 2 or 3 seconds before the scale was going to be closed.

So..... UFC.com was completely redesigned just now. It'll take a bit to get used to this.

Its a lot less viewers and a lot less money than fighting on a random Fight Night for the UFC, but within the smaller realm of e-sports MM has somehow become an actual esports celebrity.

And as for the money, ONE has almost certainly overpaid him to fight their asian tiny punchmen, so he's not crying about that.

I had TKZ winning and so did the judges

Same, the judges had him 3-1 going into the 5th, and TKZ was winning the 5th so it would have been 4-1.

TKZ only had to go "no thanks I'm good" when he was invited to start trading in the last 10 seconds.

Didn't some esports thing do 60 million viewers or something insane?

Yeah, but those big events aren't really attributable to one person, they are usually big tournaments. And on an individual basis, MM is not Ninja. (He's a streamer with insane viewership, insane sponsorship deals, who reportedly makes about $500,000/month for streaming himself playing video games)

UFC Web Site: Rankings page is fine because you can just scroll down a bit and its pretty much like it was before. Schedule page for upcoming events is fine, maybe a bit better. I don't like the front page, but I think I'll get used to it, because every big sports web site seems to be going that way, and I got used to ESPN.

When you click on an event to get the details, I really hate it. It used to have every match in one nice neat page, now the card is split up into 3 sections and you have to do a lot of scrolling.

Didn't a grand jury which is like 90% to indict decide there wasn't enough evidence and drop the charges?

Yeah, a grand jury failing to indict is rare. Any time I hear a grand jury didn't indict someone I automatically think "oh, well then he probably didn't do it. Why the hell did the prosecutor bring the case if it was that weak?"

2nd domestic violence incident we've had this year. This time, the fighter was hospitalized with a broken orbital bone and her fight in January is probably off.

uhhh..... I guess her orbital wasn't broken? Or it was a tiny hairline fracture?

Yeah it is. The bottle would not be standing straight from that angle like that if it were really on that rail.

Wow, I guess there's not much to do in Argentina. They have been partying and honoring Ponzinibbio for nearly two weeks now. He even met with the president of Argentina yesterday.

What the gently caress is this?

If I had to guess, maybe its a google translate from Japanese to English. Most other languages you can pretty much make out what they are trying to say after translation, but Japanese to English always looks a lot like this unintelligible nonsense.
