Well in the latest issue the city of Toronto is invaded by underground demonoids and Malcolm's (Dragon's son who is now the protagonist) kids who are like four run off to find his wife Maxine only to discover she's been raped nearly to death by a giant demonoid with a giant prehensile talking penis. Malcolm finds her and manages to save her by giving her some of his blood. They both rush out to find the monster that raped Max and beat their kids. Max finds the demonoid that raped her about to rape Horridus the orange spiky lizard (complete with panels of her begging him not to) and fights the demonoid before he threatens to take both of Horridus legs and rip her apart unless Maxine submits sexually to him. Malcolm shows up and kills the demonoid and the demonoid spends his last breath saying that Max loved the rape. There's a little more to it but that's about it.

I just found out Garth Ennis wrote a Dick Dastardly & Muttley comic as part of DC's weird Hanna-Barbara reboots; I finished it (6 issues) and it is amazing. Two normal air force pilots, Dick Atcherley and "Mutt" Muller drive through a mysterious cloud and it's a low key horror comic where they find themselves being transformed into cartoon characters and have to stop the cloud from spreading as the world slowly descends into lunacy My main complaint is that there could have been so much more done with the idea.

I remember Savage Dragon back in the 90s, and I think I'd have noticed stuff like this if it were in there.

For the rest of you, I'm thankful for all of you -- intelligent and good people with (generally) good taste to talk about this stuff with, since I don't have outlets to nerd out like this in real life. I hope you're all doing well as we move into the holidays, a time of year when I tend to get depressed and down. BSS and TVIV are often a bit of a sanctuary for me, and I appreciate being here.
