Voting blue in Massachusetts is basically a drop in the bucket on a national level, but question 2 on our ballot would enact a commission to advocate for the overturn of Citizens United which mandates that corporations have the same rights as people and is thoroughly my poo poo. It's also an incidental gently caress you to Vince and Linda so weeeeeeee!

WWE stock once sharply fell because Vince McMahon "sold" Monday Night Raw to Donald Trump as part of a storyline, and the Securities and Exchange Commission threatened to investigate them over misleading shareholders so they very quickly changed the storyline to Vince - who had sold Raw because he was short on money - bought it back from Trump at twice the price he sold it for originally. Apparently this made shareholders feel better about the man in charge of the company, and the stock recovered.
I've told dozens of people this story since Trump won the election and quite literally every single one of them has offered some variant of "Jesus loving Christ" as a response.
