this looks cool, is it any good?

Yeah I finished it tonight it's a fairly short game but the final scare/ending got me really well.

It's also great how the tension gets cranked up as you complete all the mission objectives.

dude blood and wine was my goty that year, you should play it.

I like both DLCs since they also told more compact stand-alone stories with some great twists while the Witcher main game storyline was only so so at holding my interest to the end.

Still early days for me and I'm not sure if my summoned ghost jellyfish is actually any good but I love him and he is my son.

Most useful utility for summons is annoying/aggro enemies so you can cheese them and the jellyfish is a pretty good pick for the earlier options.

I am consistently stunned by how striking elden ring can look. Its lighting and shadows, highlights and dark spots. I really hope theres a gdc talk about it at some point or something

e: and it runs good on my potato computer with its 1050ti

most of the one weird trick for the visual style of Dark Souls games is just following the visual designs from the Berserk manga.

Lmao also not noticed the whole bloodstrain mechanic that shows a local area as a being a player die off hotspot.

lol what a book series.

the game is a prequel too so no matter what the player does the goblins will end up being nefarious financiers by the time of the books either way.

Defeat the evil Goblin Warlord Shylock and chief general Watto before they destroy the proper of order of the world.

Even if cyberpunk hadn't been a catastrophic buggy mess I don't think it would've been good.

Yeah, it had so many other classic open world game problems like how most of the world was empty and not worth exploring despite the interesting visuals.
