I weep a silent tear every time I think about all the death and destruction that could have been avoided if Catra and Adora had just banged

I like the turn in the "Catra seems even less redeemable than Hordak" direction.

I'm also glad that it finally appears that Adora is sick of her poo poo and will hopefully stop holding back in the future. That look Adora gave catra when she got out of the portal was pretty dark.

I'm just glad the show exists - not for the gay stuff since a lot of shows have that, but She-Ra is the only show that takes the 80s rainbow aesthetic seriously. Everything else like Starbarians and Robot Unicorn Attack is at least somewhat ironic with it

Now I want a robot unicorn attack crossover

And lighthope had an infographic showing Mara as about number 10 during Adora's first training session. Mara not being the first isn't news

Yeah, there were def a bunch before Mara.

Assuming I remember S1 correctly, I thought that Mara was specifically the last one before Adora, and basically severed the line until Adora found the sword?

Yeah, Mara pulled the planet into the phantom zone and then tried to end the line of she ras so nobody could pull the planet back out.

They're basically just Gamora and Nebula from Guardians of the Galaxy. Both competing for Thanos' approval, one succeeding and the other jealously hating her for it.

Complete with defection to the good guys when presented with an artifact of power

The only character from He Man I really care about seeing is Skeletor.

Just think how annoyed Catra will be after He-Man's sword turns her into battle cat

But in fact, only one Skeletor is fabulous enough for this show.

I love that movie, still have the cosmic key as my ringtone

Best bit of trivia from that movie is that apparently Langella had an absolute blast and Skeletor is, like, his favourite role and he really wanted to do it again.

Should get Langella to voice Skeletor

Doesn't She-Ra have some sort of guaranteed episode count? Not saying it won't be unceremoniously cancelled as soon as those are done, but I think we'll at least get whatever arc the showrunners planned

So all this He-man talk makes me curious: As I haven't watched the 80's he-man since the 80s, was there a technological component to Adam getting his leather bondage outfit like in She-Ra, or was it all just handwaved as magic back then?

All I can clearly remember about the show is a buff dude with a sword than rode around on a giant cat. Part of me wants to say there was a triceratops involved as well, but I might be weirdly conflating this with space ghost or something
