Fair enough. Whatever floats your boat. And to be honest, there are probably worse ways to watch stuff. I bet some people take shows and watch it inside out, beginning in the middle and flipping between chronological and reverse order, ending at the beginning and the end.

I still don't really get the motivation behind leaving him alive in the first place. Was it just an act of pride? He was talking about it like he was captured and exiled to the island. But why was Hordak suddenly feeling merciful?

So he captured him and carefully him into a death trap, before just leaving the place never bothering to check if that actually worked. Hordak is an old school James Bond villain!

Personally, I am not very excited for this project but the voice acting cast is ridiculously stacked, they got big name just to play Skeletor's henchmen. Just look at it: Kevin Smith called his daughter Harley Quinn. That's something alright.

Finale spoilers I gotta say, turning an enormous looming spaceship in atmosphere into a giant world tree is a great power move. Better than some generic explosion with lots of debris.

Nobody seems to have mentioned it so far, but I really liked the new design of the She-Ra form. It's supposed to look way more like Adora, since by this point she takes the power from herself, rather than some cursed legacy. That pony tail looks great on her and fits way better than the bushy hair with the crown. Also the start of episode 10 is glorious. Nettossa was never that important, but this made me really like her. Does anyone have some screenshots of her cute drawings? The one of Mermista was great.

Oh come on now. She did not sacrifice her life to be self destructive. She genuinely wanted Adora to be save there and knew that this won't happen if Glimmer is around. From her perspective, she was giving up everything for Adora, not at all expecting to get anything but a painful death out of it, because this seemed like the only chance. If someone did that for me, I would definitely feel some kind of deep gratitude. Pushing everyone away would have been ignoring Glimmer and stealing some shuttle to disappearing off forever before Adore arrived.

SHVPS4DETH posted:“referring to” like sarcastically? bc you know that drunk ppl don’t tell “the REAL truth” when they’re drunk and that’s a stupid myth? It's situational. Alcohol breaks all inhibitors. Usually you pretty much just start to babble random stuff which goes through your head with arbitrary firing of synapses. But if you have a secret which weights on you for the majority of your life, but just refrain yourself from revealing it on a logical level, that might well slip out, if your logic shuts down. I don't think Adora's feelings for Catra are the later, because she seemed really unaware of it herself.

I like the design of the woman in the middle of picture 3. The one in picture 2 (which I assume is the same person) doesn't look that good. I think it's the hairstyle.

Today I saw that He-Man cartoon without a lot of nostalgia for the old stuff. Things I liked: Some character designs, the animation, some musical scores. The plot just felt incredible trite and had way to much pathos. Nothing I really liked there. She-Ra was way better, since that one at least had something to say.
