Back by (somewhat) popular demand, I'm bringing back the simul-watch thread for the new season of Mystery Science Theater 3000. To copy + paste from the previous thread, in the era of bingewatching, there's something to be said for patience. Long ago, in an era called "the 90's", Mystery Science Theater 3000 aired on Saturdays at 7PM Eastern, and in that spirit I'm organizing a simulwatch for the new season so we can all post our reactions in real-time. Starting November 24th and continuing weekly on Saturdays, we will watch each individual episode of the new MST3K season at, naturally, 7PM Eastern (Midnight GMT, Sunday mornings at 10AM Australian Eastern). Now, because everybody wants to see the first experiment as soon as possible, Mac & Me will not, repeat, NOT be a part of the simul-watch. It's Thanksgiving, after all, find some time to watch it! You're not at work unless you're not in America, I guess. Still, that's a good 48 hours to watch one experiment. Schedule: November 24: Atlantic Rim December 1: Lords of the Deep December 8: The Day Time Ended December 15: Killer Fish December 22: Ator, the Fighting Eagle Hey, there'll be enough time after that to watch all the holiday specials! Join me and a few other people for the wine-tasting style of viewing in a chugging world.
