One thing I remember about C&C is that the unit data was literally stored in a .txt file that you could open up and change pretty easily. Was much easier to beat the game when all the minigunners were bumped up to maximum damage.

FYI: The planes that deliver NOD heavy weapons can be shot down by anti-air. Not that it matters in the campaign, but in multiplayer... well, don't play NOD in the upper right corner of the map.

I remember going back through and deliberately losing missions so I could see the failure movies. Some of them are pretty funny.
