The only way I'd ever want to see Chuck fight again is against CM Punk so that he'd actually get a win

I turned it off before they got Tito on the mic, which I now realize might have actually been kind of funny, but contextually probably really sad.

Man. What a depressing fight. I mean I knew it would be, but if anybody watches that fight and would ever pay money for Chuck to fight again they're terrible people.

Chuck looked like he didn't even have the instinct to fight. Like, I would swear the kind of guy who is a former UFC champion would have been born a better fighter than that, before even going through training.

The fact that the fighters doing commentary tonight are Mir and Rashad is just :discourse: and factors into their opinions of Chuck's fighting future mightily.

I'm assuming Jon Bois and Chapo Dude #1 are purposely waiting until after that event ended to release their documentary on how depressing and lonely fight sports are because they plan on including it in there

reminder : chuck has been getting punched in the head for 30+ years and has consumed copious amounts of drugs within the same period, resulting in severe brain damage.

That was beyond sad and should never have been allowed to happen

And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.
Chuck saying he "just got caught" was the saddest thing.

Would you be my new best friends?

Did Chuck come back because he needed the money, or was the money just a bonus on top of some misguided desire to come back to fighting?

I really hope it was the latter.
