the art reminds me of ONE (the mob psycho 100 and original One Punch Man comics person) in that superficially the style seems amateurish but the composition is actually very well done and it lends a kind of flavor to the story that more competent art would not

Some people are terrible because they have never known hardship and are spoiled rotten.

Then again, not everyone who suffers learns the right lessons. I suppose NEET had some good in him that just needed the right conditions to bring it out.

NEET instead sets out to destroy manga man's career, the one thing he had left.

actually it seems NEET had this little conversation a little too late to have much of an effect on his career one way or another. NEET appears to have entered mangaman's life immediately after he made a terrible mistake, but just in time to make it clear to him that he has done so. Now he will get to see the fallout with him, as well.

On the other hand you have nasty stuff like landlords going to the funeral to extort money from the family of the suicidal person for damage compensation. Because superstition is big in Japan, a suicide in an apartment severely lowers the price they can rent it out at.

If I were the type of person who had any reason to live in Japan I would take big-time advantage of this
