There is no moral, ethical, religious, etc. reason to keep capitalism around. Even within so called rich countries the inequalities have become extreme and most suffer while a few get ever richer. Good on France.

i don't know that it started right wing, but i cant tell you much about the beginnings of the movement i think the alt right chuds are mostly glad to see macron eat poo poo, because they always hated him, they probably aren't able to conceive that people on the left might hate him too also they have a very poor understanding of politics here anyway, so i wouldn't trust anything they say or believe

In fact there's a term in French that encompasses this idea, it comes from the 3rd Republic where the army was often referred to as "La Grande Muette" i.e. "The Great Mute". It was large and powerful - but those in it (including officers) were not allowed to speak out about anything hence the "Mute" part. The army doesn't always listen (see WWI) but that's the general idea.
