I am actually looking forward to this game. I didn't play Ark, and haven't gotten HYPE for a game since UO came out. I'm pretty hype for as little information we have on this game. I am eagerly awaiting the tears when only 1/10th of the features they describe on Steam are in at EA launch.

Its a bunch of servers stitched together in a way that looks seamless. I'm guessing there will be a lot of suspiciously empty patches of ocean between islands. Anyway, I was passed another Discord link by a guy named Drache who says he's in a mixed goon/pubby group that originated from Ark. More people to possibly play with next week.

Some kind soul scanned the PC Gamer article and has posted it online, where it made its way to our Discord. Not posting the link in case of  but some of the high points are:- Ships will slowly take damage while at sea. It claims you'll be able to control territory in a meaningful way so I'm in, haven't played a pirate game that did this since..... Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates.
