Wait I just went back to see what Kadri's penalty was. Why was it a penalty? People snatch pucks out of the air and put them down dozens of times a game. I thought it must have been in the crease but it clearly wasn't on the replay.

I think the refs base it on whether it gives you a competitive advantage. Catching a puck and dropping it is fine. Throwing it into a corner is not. It’s not super hard to quantify.
