Before I do anything, I think, well what hasn't been seen. Sometimes, that turns out to be something ghastly and not fit for society. And sometimes that inspiration becomes something that's really worthwhile.
Splinter doesn't really have good options with our current cards, so we're going to want to use Major Stamina. Which cards we want to get back depends on how we want to handle this room in the next few rounds.

My favorite option is to get back Perverse Edge, Scurry, and Corrupting Embrace. We'd also need the Living Spirit to have moved to D3 instead of where it is. This round we play Hostile Takeover and Scurry (09), use Scurry to move to E3 and attack the Living Bones, and mind-control the Living Spirit. Next round we play Perverse Edge and Corrupting Embrace (08), and poison/muddle the Living Spirit and stun something (or move on to the pressure plate, depending on what the north team does). In the third round we'd have Empathetic Assault and Frigid Apparition left to move to the pressure plate.

Another option is getting back Cranium Overload rather than Perverse Edge. We could use Cranium Overload and Frigid Apparition (05) to move to D3, stun the Living Spirit, and explode the Living Bones. Then we can use Empathetic Assault and Scurry (11) to disarm the Living Spirit and Loot 2. That leaves us with Corrupting Embrace to reach the pressure plate in round 3. This option burns more loss cards, so depending on how long the north team takes, it's riskier but makes more money.

My suggestion: Corrupting Embrace (BOT) - move through and poison the skeleton + Pervese Edge (TOP) should kill it very dead (unless we draw a null) and it gives us ratspeed (INI: 08).

Place Splinter on E3 so she is two spaces away from all 3 coins that will be there by the end of the turn. So we can do a short rest protecting Scurry and use it for Looting 2 before stepping on the plate next turn.

Reik what are you doing this round? I'm probably going to drop back a bit, use goggles and piercing bow to try to inflict maximum damage. But we need to start thinking about moving towards the buttons sooner than later.

I'm gonna stand still and doom/punch the golem, then short rest. If you can go faster than me next round and take advantage of the +1 damage for allies doom I can tag the shield golem with my auto-damage doom after that and hopefully that's enough to finish it off. After that it's just 2 or so turns to run in to the room and not get shot up by artillery.

Lowest initiative, Scurry, first card from the top.
Discard mind's weakness, Talisman for stam potion, stam potion to recover everything that's recoverable

Standing orders for the rest of the dungeon: don't use further loss cards after the scurry loss, move to the plate somehow, then chill on it maximizing exp gain without using loss cards. Long rest when needed losing anything that doesn't have non-loss XP, if Mind's Weakness is active immediately deactivate it.


This should give Splinter 11 turns, exhausting on the 12th.

At this point Splinter is just useless and sitting around with her thumb in her rat-butt except for slurping up coins and getting XP.

While Team North can probably clear the room I don't really understand the draw-out plan anymore and this seems actually to be more hubristic than just getting on the plates. The absolute worst case is eating some cards for damage, so just ending the scenario seems better.

tl;dr : it's your game so feel to just do whatever, but why are you dinking around with monsters that don't win you the game when it's right there.

Sorry about that, orders in.

My thought process was that if the golems were alive and we tried to run for the plates, we could get tagged with an immobilize and take too many rounds of artillery fire. Once we kill this golem, we can use our biggest move to get in to the room with a very slow initiative so we go after the artillery for that round, and on the second round we make it to the plates and only take one round of artillery fire.

I don't know if it's too late to change Splinter's orders, but if Splinter could cranium overload move 5 to D7 and attack the shield golem with the top loss of Empathetic assault for 5 (+1 from the Doom on it right now) that would be a huge help in taking the golem down fast enough for us to get to the plates, and Splinter could still get back to the plate in one round with cranium overload and scurry.

Empowering talisman is consumed, not spent, so it isn’t infinity extra turns. It gives you one extra use of a “small item”.

Oh man, that was a great action card for the shield golem. If Splinter gets 2 damage through the shield with empathetic assault, between race to the grave and the golem's suffer 2 damage on their turn that will bring it down. Were you planning on double healing this turn, Sal?

Yeah, with the disarm we're safe from any damage this turn and even if Splinter whiffs the empathetic assault the shield golem will die from two turns of race to the grave + their own suffer 2 damage, so after a round of healing up we should be good to either move in to the room late next round or just get a bit closer to the door and then long rest before going in. I'm okay with either.
