Meanwhile, Patrick Warburton has one voice and I love it.

I thought Dragon Ball Broly was mostly dumb fun even by the standards of the franchise, but the animation and choreography was great.

It totally was, but I think the fact that it salvaged Broly (a character very dumb even by DBZ standards) so much as a character earns it a lot of smart points by comparison.

What's your favorite joke, the baby presenting another baby with a pacifier and telling her to suck it, or the milk bukkake scene

I'll have you know that was his older brother he told to suck it, thank you very much.

I really don't see how the man who wants to commercialize and sell superpowers is the socialist representative.

I appreciate that we get to see the fruits of Woody's character development. The old TS1 Woody would have been the worst person for poor Forky to awaken to.

Yeah, the proto designs for some of Cuphead's characters were YIKES as gently caress, and a few still in game are a bit questionable.

Yeah, you have to really be careful aping the era design to avoid falling headfirst into copying minstrel tropes.

I'm curious, are there any comparison pics there?

yeah, I like the differences between Bruce and Terry, and you can figure pretty much why they did things their way by comparing their histories and personalities, and kind of highlights that there was an optimist buried deep down in Bruce.

And I think what makes the Fantastic 4 villain analogues work is they really dig into some unexplored dynamics - like how Ben Grimm should be pretty angry about the raw deal, or basically how everyone points out that Reed Richards is an arrogant dickweed

The Fantastic Four seem like they could have an amazing anti-hero dynamic if they were ever allowed to be anything besides the toast-dry first family of comics.

Honestly, I was almost hoping Fan4stic stuck to the horror motif it had going on the whole time.

How so? I've heard almost nothing but praise for the show.

The premise, artstyle, and promos/pilot episode probably added up to turn a lot of people off of the show from the onset, and I can't say I blame them for that. Show's good IMO though.
