I bought this game cuz I haven't played a football game in years and it was 24 dollars on Origin. It loving blows balls and it's extremely buggy. In Franchise mode the AI raiders quarterback throws the ball directly into the ground, the enemy team's chests, or, if I'm controlling the reciever, 40 feet over his head.

I watched a lot of Buccaneers and it got me wanting to play a franchise mode but NFL will never have a game like ESPN 2K5 again so it was a bad idea.

Any kind of franchise or career mode or anything progression based has been replaced by the madden ultimate team lootbox mode at this point . Last time I played (15?) the actual gameplay was really fun though

To find My Player mode you have to go through like 3 layers of menu. It's under Franchise mode and you have to change the Role to "Player" and then "Create a Player".
