And there's no way they're letting her in on a B-2 (standard tourist visa) after she's shown immigrant intent with a K-1. So if they didn't use the visa in June 2020, it's unlikely she'd be able to get a new K-1 and re-enter the US before 2022. I think someone earlier in the thread said application times actually aren't that bad because they're so backlogged they're reducing scrutiny. My husband applied for his green card in March (change of status from student visa) and got it in hand in early September. I know it's not a K-1 but it seemed very fast, especially considering things were shut down for a period.

This season is just too scripted to be enjoyable. Angela's well known for storing stuff in her bra, so of course they set it up that the doctor finds out she's lying about smoking because she's got a pack of cigarettes hiding in there! Tiffany's well known for her shoulderless tops so of course that's all she wears, and Ronald even gets in his "my boy" catchphrase. Brandon's mom just happens to call while they're in the pool and Julia's modeling for the camera. On and on and on. The cast is just caricatures of themselves at this point. I did enjoy Chuck imitating Andre and Libby calling him out though, that was funny.

Mike and Natalie is one of those situations where there's no good side. They both suck for different reasons. I am inclined to be a little more sympathetic to Natalie because of the power imbalance though. They never should have gotten married in the first place. Their relationship has been a farce since she got her K-1 and flew to the US. It's good TV, though. Angela continues to be disgusting and abusive this week. Some of the 90DF podcasts are reacting to her continued trashiness - adding more content warnings, only talking about her in their Patreon feeds to reduce engagement over her, etc. I don't blame Michael for not answering her calls! Every time he picks up she launches into a tirade about how he's ruining her life or whatever because he expressed his opinion that she doesn't need surgery. It's really wild to take a step back and see the position Michael's in now. In a prior season he said that Angela won't allow him to get a job so that he can be available to take her calls 24/7. And that's exactly what happens - many times when she calls him it's very clear that it's the middle of the night and she's woken him up with her call. She's completely controlling his life from halfway across the world, and she's the one angry at him??

Brandon and Mary are so fascinating. At the beginning it was portrayed as them both being horrible and controlling to each other. But the more we see, the more it looks like it's all Mary. Brandon seems to just be going along - at worse, doing a tit for tat thing when she tells him he can't do something. She tells the audience that Brandon made her drop out of school, couldn't see her friends, and so on. On screen we haven't seen Brandon be one tenth of the controlling that Mary is. When her friends revealed that she had been faking power outages to go see them, Brandon didn't seem upset that she was doing that, but that she had lied to him. He's shown a lot of grace in dealing with her bullshit. She on the other hand is trying to control where he looks while they're in church. I want to be empathetic to the guy who seems like he's just gotten in way over his head, but we know that there are no heroes on this show and I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. How do other people feel about these two?
