Sure, and kids develop at different paces, it's been a while since I've been involved in potty training (as a care giver, not a parent) but over three seems like a bit much. The bottle makes me sad  Why is Jenny complaining about being 'cold' with her bucket shower in loving India where they're having record high temperatures? I would imagine it would be refreshing. When I've taken cool or cold showers (bucket or otherwise) in high temp areas (south america, Texas, New Orleans) it's been the best part of the day.

I also enjoy Russian literature but it definitely doesn’t make me want to go there. Has the South African actually said or done anything racist yet? I mean, every white person in SA is default racist the same way aussies and kiwis and us lovely Americans are, but has he actually done anything yet? I’m in California and watch on Xfinity so it seems like I get episodes a few days after the rest of the internet so I could be behind.

The kids living there are the combined children of both daughters. Her mother is obviously very very ill though. That’s the deadly cancer + poverty + ignorance combo. Luckily, Angela is a hospice care nurse so hopefully she is well cared for. I dislike Angela greatly as a person, but she has obviously had an incredibly difficult life so I do have some empathy. I think much of the way she acts is to compensate for how helpless she is in actuality.

No, I agree, Angela has had a rough life and is very ignorant/impoverished. She doesn’t react appropriately to things. However, she does have redeeming qualities and I bet she’d be a hoot to grab a beer or have a BBQ with. Lisa is a loving nightmare.

Paul ought not be in a relationship with anyone. Karine I struggle to tell if she is genuinely as naive as she comes across or if that is a language issue. She seems lost much of the time, although she has shown that she can stand up for herself and seems to be a fierce mama which I think is going to be what keeps that poor child alive in the presence of Paul. Karine and Annie are very different. I wish that the show gave the non-US women more depth and coverage, but the focus of the show and it's editing is the American part of the couple. Around this era was also Kirylam and Alan and that was 100% a gross Mormon pedophile grooming story and somehow they are still together and BARF. E: Now that I think on it, I think at the time David had also had a heart attack? stroke? and lost his job and home, that's why he went to Thailand. Avery #1 had undergone some horrific abuse that seems to have been sexual in nature. I wouldn't blame her if a religion in which women were largely "nonsexual" other than with their partner (i mean in the US/Western sense of sexualizing appearance) would have appeal to her. She didn't seem to want to change anything about Omar or his family, she was however very naive of the world in general & just wanted everything to work out. She and Omar seem to really love each other and she seems to be quite devout, I rather liked her.

I'm halfway through now so I don't know why it didn't air yet, but if you're a newer watcher of the series, check it out to see the early aesthetic. Who else here listens to 90 Day Gays podcast - I see that someone else may be a 'Sissy' too, whoever mentioned the facebook group. They're two sassy gay theatre/comedian/singers that do commentary. I like it mostly for their personalities, it's sort of like a drunk vulgar version of a morning show on TV. They don't research anything, so sometimes that's annoying. They keep pushing a new podcast called "90 Day The Melaninated Way" that I will check out, but so far I find all the other ones I've listed to, 90 Day Cray Cray, 420 90 Day and Defrauded pretty lame/irritating.
