When he found out Hazel's son lived with his dad (because Hazel was desperately poor and was going to be homeless after Tarik left) his response was something along the lines of "you can't trust a woman who abandons her kid", which he said to her face, in public, and didn't seem to care when she started crying. With 90 Day I want to give most relationships the benefit of the doubt so when American family and friends say "are you sure they're not just using you for money/a green card" I tend to roll my eyes and attribute it to xenophobia unless it's really obviously scammy, and in reality the transactionality usually goes both ways. By contrast based on the one season of Love After Lockup I've seen the non-inmates are total fools for not taking those warnings extremely seriously. There are some brutal scams and master manipulators on that show. Shawn and Destinie have to be one of the most disastrous TV couples of all time

The worst thing Dylan did was gently (and accurately) tease her for making him miss his driving test. Her expression followed by his instant realization of how badly he had hosed up and futile attempt to walk it back were hilarious, and the rest of the segment was like nothing I've seen on TV before. If you played some tense electronic music under it it could almost be a Safdie brothers movie

Heather obviously has some serious problems and I feel a tiny bit bad for getting so much enjoyment out of her antics, but at least she got to be on TV and get paid. I've seen her social media too and it's really just sad, I don't know why people would want to experience that negativity. At least Dylan seems to be doing well though!
