my mom did that "invest in dinars because they'll be worth billions when obama stops devaluating them" scam and would not hear a word of advice on the matter. a year or so ago she came down to visit and immediately started critiquing on why i spent money on a big tv and it was all i could do not to be like "because i can afford it and i saved for it, hows your retirement fund coming along"
