Im reposting this in gbs because its not like this forum will run out of threads Ok, this has been my new favorite toy for the last couple of days: https://s2p.moe/app.html And an English language tutorial: https://style2paints.github.io/ Its a program that will allow you to automatically color in any black and white drawing using several different AI presets. Just picking one of them without doing any touchup yourself still results in wonderful looking colored pictures. Heres a battletech mech, the only thing I did to this was pick the AI that I thought had the nicest color pallette: Just using the presets can lead to some goofy pictures though, like in this one it insisted on coloring in Aquas scalera black and makes her look like a Kure: However, you can use the pallete on the side to cheat a little bit and give the program hints what color you want certain areas to be. Using these tools I was able to get a nice looking picture: e: Just realized the trailing black thing is Johnnys scarf and the part I colored in yellow by Nina is the lapel of his coat. Whoops. Nothing else to say, go play with this. Its extremely fun.

Looks neat! I haven't played with it yet, but it's pretty cool that it's open source. You can get all the code here: https://github.com/lllyasviel/style2paints I think I'm going to spin up my own server and play around with it, interested to see how well the coloring works for an animation. I imagine it'll probably have some jitter and color changes, but could look neat.

You can do anything you want, it just works better on anime since so much manga is in black and white

Oh poo poo, this is gorgeous. Now I really want a color version of Uzumaki.

You can upload your own color palettes, so here's another Uzumaki panel with the colors of Van Gogh's "Starry Night."

Not at all how I expected it to work with Mona Lisa. It's like a version of the painting from a lovely cheap survival horror.

Use careful mode for simpler drawings itll make the colors more solid. The flatten mode at the top helps for simpler drawings too
