Isn't that Ben Foster's score? I think they can and do use his stuff, because he scores all their Torchwood work.

I'm fairly certain they used the "here he comes in a ruddy great tractor" tune as the theme for The Lives of Captain Jack vol. 1

Oh maybe I’m wrong then. I’d love to hear the Gallifrey leitmotif in BF’s stuff.

Also: the Classic Blu-ray boxsets need to (a) slow down on their release schedule, and (b) not be limited edition. I didn’t buy the S19 Davison one at the time of release, and now it’s nearing double the price on Amazon from secondary sellers.

I had no idea they were limited editions, that's loving stupid. Goddammit. There go my plans to eventually grab them when I could justify the expense.

Is this a UK thing, because I still see the R1 Davison Blu-Ray for like $40 on Amazon.ca.

Ohhh, ok, I see now. These cardboard boxed ones are 'limited edition packaging', but there's been no indication yet of what constitutes regular packaging releases (like the R1 versions).

That's actually kinda disappointing since it would cause Darrow to rise from his grave in a rage and then they could get him to record some new stuff.

Nonsense -- Mark Heap is still around, and he was fine Avon.

I'm just curious to know if there are any people out there really beating the drum for Gareth Roberts, and loudly protesting his removal from that DW story compilation. I mean, "Planet of the Dead" alone should have made people avoid anything he'd ever associated his name with like the loving plague (to say nothing of him deciding it'd be a good idea to out himself as a regressive shithead).

Just imagine, if this had taken off and it had to be accounted for when considering the shows international audience we might have avoided the whole "Doctor.. WHO?!" Moffat obsession.

Actually that makes me curious now. I assume Doctor Who runs dubbed in some countries, is hisher name translated phonetically to sound similar (as it seems this South Korean artist did) or translated with another word that means "who"?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFmpAUzk6J8

There's some understandable slips in the talking-in-sync section and the acting is obviously of a college/university production level, but it's still a pretty impressive thing to pull off.
