Guys, I have secondary sandwich indecision. I'm definitely going to be ordering a "Vinny's Stromboli" which is toasted: Pepperoni, Salami, Ham, Provolone, Roasted Peppers, Tomato Salad (its a sandwich not a stromboli unfortunately), but I also wanna get a second 'wich for later. Do I order 1) "Fat Clemenza" Ham, Salami, Coppa, Prosciutto, Sopressatta, Lettuce, Provolone, Tomato, Roasted Peppers, Onions, Oil + Vinegar or 2)"Gino Special" Mortadella, Hot Capicolla, Turkey, Fresh Mozzarella, Lettuce, Mayo, Oil + Vinegar This is the most important decision I will make this week

Wingstop fries are pretty good. If you have any Korean style fried chicken places near you, they often times make pretty drat good fries as well.

Had the (supposedly) best burrito in america. Honestly, their quesadillas are better. If I didn't have to walk and eat I would have gotten one instead

Chinatown posted:wheres this Whoops I forgot to put that in, its La Taqueria (or as the cool people say "la taq") which got ranked first in this huge burrito bracket back in 2014 https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/americas-best-burrito/ Obviously other places could have opened up in 5 years time. The carne asada they use really is quite excellent. I dunno about best in America though.

Chinatown posted:Nice. I enjoy SF style burritos. I enjoy San Diego style more since I'm from there but I respect any town with a strong burrito game. Yeah. Even though a "mission burrito" has rice, that place doesn't put rice in them by default, which is a big pro imo. The biggest con is that its way expensive, and really should be at least 2-3 dollars less. I'll gladly pay extra now though, in exchange for the mission district being no longer scary to walk around nowadays.

Instead of, you know, a whole loving sandwich that normal people eat. I decided to order half a sandwich. The knowledge that someone sells sandwiches in quarters like that is making me real angry. They look good though.

Pennywise the Frown posted:I tried quinoa once and didn't like it. Although it was a microwave quinoa bowl and was really dry so I guess that isn't fair. Oh, yeah I just made it myself. Not too difficult. You can basically use it as a hybrid rice/pasta substitute, just gotta put something on it because its not super flavorful on it own. Cooking it with some kind of meat stock helps a little bit. I've never had it come out super dry.

Yeah, you need to have a lot of time set aside for that kind of thing. My college friends and I used to sit there for 3+ hours and get wasted while eating meat. Cheap places in SoCal were like 12 bucks per person for the cheaper menu. It owned. If you wanna get serious, you can plan out which meats you're gonna put on because some definitely take longer than others/gently caress up the grill more so you need a grill change.
