Is that the episode where Furio calls Columbus a filthy Genoian?

I didnt like the melfi rape. It's this incredibly horrible thing done to one of the main characters in the most savage way possible for this tiny piece of characterization that has vety little importance to the series. Wont be a popular opinion.

While true at least it was used for development of Melfis character and was disconnected from any change whatsoever with Tony.

Casino is a good movie and I really enjoy watching it and rewatched it just awhile back, but it and most gangster movies since just kinda copies Goodfellas and goes through the motions, complete with the voiceover protagonist.

I'm not sure what you're looking for with two movies by the same writer and director made a few years apart.

When they opened up the Soprano gun cabinet with Little Paulie there is a lingering focus on the grenade. It seems odd because for one I'm not sure why tony would keep something like that in his home and second of all is there significants to showing this to Little Paulie (possibly opening tony up to prosecution if he flipped). I'm not sure if theres significant to it or if it was just something the set designed tossed in to fill the space.

Out of the 5 guys in the Christopher execution setup in the field are Tony B and the biker dude made? Are you allowed to kill a made guy with non-made guys around? Also talk about too many witnesses if Tony (S) is pulling the trigger.

I'm confused about the take with the shotgun:
Was it that tony smuggled a real deal Benelli from italy and gave it to his father or that it was a cheap export model Benelli and that the snooty diplomat guy was turning his nose it?
In the first case it would be disgust over the illegal nature of the item but he woudln't be scoffing at the product.
In the second case the guy is just making GBS threads on the gift Tony's FIL just got, independent of the origin.

Also how cool would it be to get cast as "featured extra in waiting room in debilitating pain"?

I think it's giving Janice way too much credit to say that she was on the road to recovery and Tony wrecked it. Tony knew she was putting on a show and was going to push buttons until she couldn't keep up the facade. It was lovely but it's not like Janice wasn't going to be back to being fully a monster in a week.

Bip Roberts
Mar 29, 2005
I mean Janices whole character is built upon a series of fake emotional events to manipulate everyone around her. This "change" wasn't any different and if it was it would be wildly out of character. Tony knows because he's her brother and is willing to ruin the show with no regard for the Bacalas.

I like the parallels between the Tony - Bobby fight and the Tony - Ralphie fight. Both were started over stupid poo poo and involve two hippos of men grappling with each other. It really raises the stakes if tony is going to choke our bobby right there in the lake house.
