yeah I eat rear end posted:The best appetizer I had was "popcorn shrimp" at a british place in switzerland. They were enormous fried shrimp with popcorn in the batter served with some kind of oyster sauce. It looked bizarre and it was 30 dollars for like 4 of them, but it was worth it. what in the hell

Americans get poo poo all the time for too much corn in our food products, and the Swiss are out there with this abomination. My god.

QuarkJets posted:maybe a bloomin' onion Hearing American posters and podcasters reference these things frequently makes me really want to try one, but ironically outback steakhouse doesn't exist in Australia. There is this one indian restaurant that makes the best gobhi pakoda I have ever tasted. It's so amazingly delicious, but the rest of the restaurant sucks, is inconveniently located and is kind of a dump. I've tried to recreate them myself using every recipe I can find and all the best spices from authentic indian spice traders, but it never comes even close.

I don't see why we need a thread for this; the entire forums are an aspie appreciation station.

The best app I ever had was in a low-tier restaurant in Barcelona. Deep fried whole anchovies, lightly battered in a flour and champagne, heads and tails still attached, with a romesco dipping sauce. They were legit the most delicious thing I think I’ve ever had.
