Yeah they basically just kept character designs and some character stuff, but redid the entire story down to completely changing the Stella character into Luna/etc Nomura's version sounded kind of interesting but  I really love what Tabata cobbled together from the cutting room floor

Yeah, it seemed more like a modern day city (but w magic) possibly crime family ruling kinda thing, they worshipped the XIII goddess of death or something
