I don't know where else to put this so I'm putting it here. Tumblr has launched a "promoted post" feature called Blaze, which is kinda unique in that it is completely UN-targeted (except inasmuch as tumblr itself is a bit of a narrow slice of humanity). On a whim I decided to chuck a couple of bucks at promoting a post about my last album and I have gotten more click-throughs, reblogs, likes, etc. from that than I have from any other advertising I've ever done. People are very positive about the music, but even more they seem very excited about the fact that someone is using Blaze to promote anything artistic; at this point it seems to mostly be used for people to promote their favorite shitposts. Anyway if you're looking for somewhere to plug your stuff it's worth a shot.

Poxwalker - Murmurings in a Time of Illusions This was a little noisey setup I have next to my work desk that I would record on during my lunchbreak. Noisy and improvisational. Poxwalker - Astral Sermon Small collection of improvisations on the Arturia MicroFREAK Poxwalker - Litanies of Chaos Same setup as above but slightly less improvisational, also pulling in some guitar. 19 minute long introspective wankery done for a live stream i'm doing soon.

Thought I'd drop in my latest rock project. I usually tell people Gonzo sounds like, "Queens of the Stone Age, or something." Hey there. Over the winter, I wrote and recorded my first rock album. I play and sign everything myself. In the real world I’m a composer for band and orchestra, but I’ve always wanted to do a rock album. Pandemic pushed me over the edge. It’s currently available on Spotify, Amazon music, Apple Music, and I’m selling physical CDs and vinyl through Bandcamp. Fun fact, I also don’t use a DAW. Album ended up being quite personal. Talk a bit about mental illness, depression, impostor syndrome, etc. I also have a song about trying to get your cat to do something, so I guess it all evens out. I’d say the sound is a mix of Panic at the Disco, Phish, Emerson Lake And Palmer, and Barenaked Ladies. The process went well enough that I’m already about three songs into whatever comes next, although this time I’m going to have some additional musicians help with guitars and vocals. I make breakcore and ambient under the bandcamp name grozny, as well as some other small misc projects (a acoustic improv mashup between me who cant sing and my buddy who can vaguely play guitar, as well as my first album which was an attempt at vaporwave). My best album is " State Of Mental Decay" which is breakcore. I would really appreciate if y'all check my music out. It's been described by friends as -outsider music -black metal breakcore -depressive-suicidal breakcore -sounds like im overdosing It's somewhat amateurly made but people seem to like it.
