My primary instruments are 6, 7, and 12 string guitars, but I have a good understanding of virtually all stringed instruments, and have a background in percussion and classical/video game music composition as well to round things out. This is a major album drop slated for release on March 1st. I'll be working on it primarily with Reaper and maybe Studio One Pro but if you use other DAWs as long as we figure out the compatibility issues I think everything will work great. For my stringed instruments I will be using the Spark Go for all amp modeling and using some of the tools and software it comes with to have a direct interface to my DAW rather than an analog interface that I'm using for my powered mixing board, etc. I'm really new to using reaper and studio one but I have been doing this stuff over 25 years and learned a lot about different ways and methods to record sounds accurately. I do not need collaborators to complete this project but I would really love it if some goons wanted to help me fill out some parts and contribute. I intend to release this commercially and will have all the required paperwork and business side stuff worked out hopefully in time for release. I have a lot of connections in the industry and can get anything we create released professionally and legally protected from any dumb poo poo happening.
