Chasing the ever higher peak of sports performance medicine is actually super hosed. Like yeah, totally normal to shove players into hyperbaric chambers, IV drip vitamin and electrolyte solutions back into players after training, all that weird poo poo from German doctors to make a knee reco heal after a month. Of course you're going to get poo poo like what Hird did going on. If we ever do manage any kind of super soldier serum it's going to be an accident after some loving physio trying to make a hammy heal up in two days or some poo poo.
