on that note it's always interesting to see mafia be played outside of this little bubble on the something awful forums. pretty much every other place i've seen has a very different approach, oftentimes based more in game solving via role discussion with less of an emphasis on actual scumhunting and boy, when i see that, i'm glad i decided that this patch of internet was the one for playing mafia, because that poo poo just looks downright unfun well, that and the community, but that's a different story

i never like bminus's posting so i'm gonna call that a big null from me. not a fan of nep's pr, though i acknowledge it's probably mod-given. i'd vote them to get rid of the vague insinuation posting that pr's always provide don't have a scumread yet unfortunately, but the game's only been open for a few hours so i'm not too worried about that just yet

on further thought, i actually wouldn't be surprised if this THUNDERDOME was backed by mechanics it doesn't appear to prevent us from voting other people, but i wouldn't put it past a setup like this to have a role where you could declare a THUNDERDOME and, instead of just like forcing votes on the participants, the non-voters are punished in some other way in the night (role block, hated, w/e) i dont think it's anything more than a joke right now, but it would be a fun role and now that i'm thinking about it i almost hope it is real, and wish i had it if it was
