another cool manga is Handyman Saitou in Another World just an average handyman gets transported to a fantasy world and joins an adventuring group as sort of a rogue. mainly disarming traps. Occasionally, the manga will focus on a completely separate character, my favorite is Dwarf mage with dog.

theres also Close Combat Mage a gym teacher who is irl a very good martial artist is given an alt account from one of his students, but its as a mage and the class cant be changed. Even with his weak wizard stats he still goes around punchin dudes. Its ok, but didnt grab me.

That first one, Nobu, is a perfectly fine Japanese cooking in generic medieval European city. Its good enough that a another group are translating it after the previous one left MangaDex in that recent kerfuffle. Its a well liked series in the food manga thread.
