What was the isekai where the protag gets really evil sounding powers like mind control and such and doesn't want to be evil so he uses them in the lightest and minimal way possible to survive and struggles with the ethical issues at hand? What was that isekai someone posted before that was described as Dark Souls the Isekai? Was it good? What are some good isekais where the protagonist or some friends that have spooky powers or powers or skills normally attached to evil characters? But are good people? Thanks. I gobble these concepts up especially the evil powers good people idea so for sure keep the suggestions coming! I'm totally down with reincarnations and not isekais per se! Hell I'm interested in the concept when it comes to mangas and webnovels too. Yikes about the Dark Spirit one though... anyways I'll go toss my request in the not good isekai thread just in case there is something I'll still enjoy along those lines.

Somehow Virtues of the Villainess isn't really grabbing me. The presumptive male lead isn't even the bog standard funny or interesting kind so far. The rival is a jerk, as is the fiance, but the female lead is also kind of an rear end in a top hat. Though all their schemes bouncing off of each other is kinda neat...
