So Illinois just got hit with a "shelter in place" order so I am going to have a lot more time on my hands. Between that and content providers releasing a lot of full fights on Youtube to keep us from killing each other for now what better time ,to have watch parties of old (ish) and classic (ish) fights. Perhaps we can do a watch party in Discord. Anyone else down?

ESPN is showing Wilder-Fury II among other boxing. Wilder was never quite right after the headshot in round 3. Dude was just falling down. I swear there was more clinching than punching. Looked up Larry Holmes on boxrec watching this Tyson thing and he fought Butterbean in 2002? Which is sad for multiple reasons for Larry, I mean you shouldn't have to take a joke fight at 52 if you were once heavyweight champion of the world. But the fight was 10 rounds? Esch never fought more than four in my mind, for obvious reasons. I also discovered Butterbean is still alive, which surprises me given everything about that man.
