I recognized four names out of the twenty six in the OP and I don't know how I feel about that

Yes that is why I decided to include pictures.

Yeah that was really weird.

Look at this loving fight record, he's some kind of choke specialist(in the Spain regional circuit, whatever that means) that just refused to approach his opponent today.

That was a slick roll to get back to the feet.

Ferreira should take a page from Dan Henderson's book, cut Khabilov off with a low left kick and blast him with the right.

Goodness no, now that wouldn't do at all!

I'm at knowing 10 names on the OP, I thought it was 11 before realizing Daniel Teymur wasn't David Teymur

While I'm rooting for this little brick man, I am not hopeful.

Welp I didn't expect them both to come out gassed.

Prazeres not being able to keep top half guard to save his life was really something.

Naurdiev with a full camp should be fun at 170.

That UFC 235 card is pretty fuckin' great.

Also sorely tempted to hit up Max vs Poirier in Atlanta. It's only like four hours away...

Yeah they've been saying that the ESPN deal gives them more freedom to hold events at local prime time, here's a short interview if you care about that sort of thing:

Lets see if we can go 30 seconds without Teymur poking someone in the eye.

John Morgan of MMAJunkie posted:

The contest got off to a terrible start, with Teymur pushing away after a blocked kick and driving his fingers into Oliveira’s eyes. The Brazilian’s eyes were clearly reddened, and he struggled to keep them open as the doctor came to take a look, leading referee Jerin Valel to take a point for the infraction. On the restart, Oliveira immediately complained again of another poke.

Both fights started with an immediate point taken away and a round 2 finish against them, this was less than a month ago.

Appreciate that. I hope they do it more. I think it will be way easier to watch with friends if we can chill on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon rather than getting a sitter and all that
