The best part about the XBone reveal was literally hours later the PS4 reveal happened. It was like Sony watched Microsoft step on their dick with always-online and whatever the gently caress its convoluted used game system was. Seeing opportunity they re-wrote their conference so it was like watching them kick Microsoft in the balls for a good hour straight. Like, if I would need a pair of running shows right now, I would probably go to Nike or Adidas, because those are the brands that advertise so much that they stick out in memory (rather than less well-known brands that could actually have better shoes).

Didn't the Noid campaign get dropped by Pizza Hut after some crazy guy with the last name "Noyd" held up a Pizza Hut and the employees inside at gunpoint thinking the character was a personal insult to him? Seems like almost getting a store full of employees murdered (but for the most roundabout way ever) is bad optics. I wonder now how many different angle PR people need to view potential campaigns from?

Also lol @ that one rep from Tumblr who defended the decision to remove tits and dicks from their site that had a huge amount of nsfw content and a ravenous porn-loving userbase. He said that he expected Tumblr to keep growing and get even better once they got rid of all that pesky porn and thus the pornbots would be defeated. Only the automated system started pinging everything from drawings of kittens to posters of Space Jam to pictures of hands as porn. People fled in droves from the Tumpocalypse. Tumblr is now but a shadow of its former lovely glory and will probably slowly decay until Yahoo finally has the chance to quietly yank it. Not much happening on there anymore. Still the misguided social justice and nazis and bots, just no porn.
