 Welcome to the Pokemon Village... again!  Once again, the Pokemon village is in trouble! But who is it that lurks in the shadows this time? Basic information Days will be 48-72 hours in length. Nights will be 24 hours. These are flexible based on when I want to be up and doing things. This is a role madness game is for 16 people. We’ll be using Discord and SA PM's to manage everything, so please make sure you have access to those for the game. Alignment changes are not part of this game. General Mafia Rules (That have been stolen from Natural 20 who stole them from Somberero) 1. Don't be poo poo to each other. This is a game, part of the game is having people react, but if you think you’re reacting badly, walk away, calm down, come back later. 2. For the lurker mechanic for this game, anybody below 10 posts per game day can be freely lynched during the next day. Possible free lynches will be announced at the start of each day. 3. Don't edit your posts. 4. Don't talk after you're dead. I'll send you a PM to a Dead doc if you want to chat poo poo. 5. Feel free to post after the hammer/during twilight about non-game stuff. 6. Flavour is flavour, you’re welcome to pursue arguments on it if you want. However, scum are backed by 7. No replacements after D2. 8. Don't directly quote any communication from me, including your role pm. If you have OOT communication with another player, the rule still applies. 9. Don't fake day actions. 10. If you are affected by a Day Action, do not post under any circumstances until we post the result of the Action. Everyone else is good to keep going. A note about result language 1. A result that successfully targets will yield the result. "You successfully x your target" 2. A result that does not successfully target will yield the result. "Your action fails." 3. If a player name is ever mentioned as part of a result, this is a mod error. 4. A "successful" target is defined as an ability resolving on someone. Here are the role PMs for those too lazy to access the google doc: Whimsicott (Scum-Aligned Rolecop/Mason Recruiter) You are Whimsicott, a small, fluffy, fun-loving pokemon that can get into just about anywhere. At night, you can investigate a player to find out their role. When you do so, you will automatically add them to your masonry as they join your circle of friends. You can talk to both your scum-team and your masonry friends at any time. Your goal is to be uncontestably in control of the vote. --- Blissey (Scum-aligned 1-Shot Bulletproof Doctor/Poisoner) You are Blissey, a kind, pink, egg shaped ball of love. For some reason a lot of people dislike seeing you, though. At night, you can target a player to heal them. They will be protected from being killed at night. You cannot use this ability on the same target twice in a row. Alternatively, you can use Toxic to poison a player. They will not be informed of being poisoned and die a night afterwards. You can use this ability in addition to the factional nightkill. Because you have WAY too many hit points, you passively have 1-Shot Bulletproof. You can talk to your scum-team at any time. Your goal is to be uncontestably in control of the vote. --- Malamar (Scum-Aligned Illusionist) You are Malamar, a psychic type with strong hypnotic powers. At night, you can target a player to permanently make them investigate as TOWN. Alternatively, you can target a player to permanently make them appear as NOT TOWN. They will not be notified of this. You can talk to your scum-team at any time. Your goal is to be uncontestably in control of the vote. --- Eevee (Scum-Aligned JOAT/Evolver) You are Eevee, a small adaptable pokemon. At night, you can pick one of the 1-shot abilities below. 1-shot Hide (Evolution to Vaporeon: Hider that shows roles and names of visitors. Can’t be used twice in a row.) 1-Shot Roleblock (Evolution to Jolteon: Ninja/Roleblocker) 1-Shot Juggernaut (Evolution to Flareon: Juggernaut) 1-Shot Watcher (Evolution to Espeon: Watcher/Tracker) 1-Shot Janitor (Evolution to Umbreon: 2 more charges of Janitor, learn role of victim) At any point, you can evolve into a stronger form, losing access to all remaining charges to gain an improved version of one of the powers that can be used every night. This does not count as an action, but cannot be reversed. You can talk to your scum-team at any time. Your goal is to be uncontestably in control of the vote. --- Gengar (Self Aligned Executioner/Flavor-Cop) You are Gengar, a mass of shadows filled with malice. At night, you can check a player to find out which Pokemon they are. Your goal is to see Espurr executed. Should the player in question die at night, you will become a Self-Aligned Serial Killer. You will be endgamed and lose should scum have majority, even if your target is still alive. Safeclaim: Gunsmith Sample Town PM: Bidoof (Town-Aligned Village Idiot) You are Bidoof, the stupidest looking pokemon known to man. At night, you can do nothing because you are, in fact, an awful pokemon. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Mightyena (Town-Aligned Tracker) You are Mightyena, a canine with a strong nose. At night, you can track a player to find out where they went. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Gardevoir (Town-Aligned Cop) You are Gardevoir, a Psychic type capable of sensing malice. At night, you can check a player to find out their alignment. Their alignment result will be TOWN or NOT TOWN. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Lapras (Town-Aligned Busdriver) You are Lapras, a pokemon known for transportation. At night, you can swap the positions of two players. Actions targeting one will instead target the other. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Emboar (Town-Aligned 1x Bulletproof) You are Emboar, large and in charge. Your thick fat will protect you from a single night kill. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Gallade (Town-Aligned Bodyguard) You are Gallade, a fighter believing in justice. At night, you can protect a player. Should they be targeted for a nightkill, you will sacrifice yourself to save your target. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Froslass (Town-Aligned Jailor) You are Froslass, a frosty ghost. At night, you can jail a player by encasing them in a block of ice. You will protect them from harm, but also roleblock them. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. --- Unown (Town-Aligned Doublevoter) You are Unown, one of many. During the day, you can use your many variants to anonymously doublevote by PMing the mod. (May take a while to be applied due to timezones, however.) Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. --- Ditto (Town-Aligned Backup) You are Ditto, a pink blob that can copy anything. At night, you can visit a dead player to copy their role. This only works on town-aligned players. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Galvantula (Town-Aligned Trapper) You are Galvantula, an electric spider. At night, you can place a trap on a player. The Trap will be triggered on the first visit to the player that isn’t you and roleblock all visitors to your target that night. The trap lasts until triggered, and there can only be one trap at a time. Placing another trap will replace the previous one. Once triggered, you cannot place a trap on the same player again. You can swap the trap to another player at any time. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Slowbro (Town-Aligned Delayed Self-Voyeur) You are Slowbro, a famously slow pokemon, both mentally and physically. Passively, you will receive a list of all the actions that targeted you the previous night. Additionally, if you are targeted by a night kill, you will die a day later instead. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town. -- Espurr (Town-Aligned Death Redirector) You are Espurr, a psychic type with strange powers. At night, you can target a player to redirect their death to another player of your choice. You cannot target the same player twice in a row to protect from night kills. You cannot target yourself with this ability. You must pick two targets and will be seen visiting both. Your goal is to get rid of all those who would threaten the town.
