75% through the season now. Harden might be the only guy to reach 400+ NP this year:

code:
NP	Player
405.2	James Harden
341.68	Kevin Durant
335.36	Stephen Curry
329.48	Giannis Antetokounmpo
280.96	Karl-Anthony Towns
265.16	Paul George
247.16	Rudy Gobert
244.88	Tobias Harris
233.52	Damian Lillard
230.76	Joel Embiid

-23.84	Josh Jackson
-24.76	Stanley Johnson
-25.12	Bruce Brown
-27.28	Jerryd Bayless
-34.52	Jonathon Simmons
-36.72	Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
-40.72	Jevon Carter
-42.04	Andrew Wiggins
-46.32	Frank Ntilikina
-57.32	Kevin Knox
Kevin Knox establishing himself as the 505th best scorer in the league.

Harden now in elite company:

code:
Player Season 57+ Point Games in a season
Wilt Chamberlain 1961-62	22
Wilt Chamberlain 1962-63	14
James Harden 2018-19	4
LBJ now top ten ranked in both career points/assists. A lofty goal for LBJ to aim for would be to finish ranked #1 in points and #2 in assists. When Oscar Robertson retired in 1974 he was #2 in points behind Wilt and #1 in assists.

LBJ needs 3,547 assists and 6,193 points to match that feat. Albeit LBJ has a much larger player list to overcome.

Man the Bucks hiring process for GM was a nightmare as the owners feuded with each other. They ended up hiring Horst, a young internal candidate with a meh pedigree. Everyone thought he would be in way over his head, but the dude is killing it.

Edit: Bucks were good in the 80s too. Then Herb Kohl bought the team and yikes.

The Don Nelson teams were pretty good in the 80's, even. The problem they had was trying to go through both Boston and Philly, which nobody else could do in the east 'til the Pistons hit their prime. Then he left and welp.

EDIT: guess he left because him and Kohl were feuding, which'd reinforce your point. Whoops, my bad.

So the Lakers have a 5% chance of making the playoffs by ESPN's BPI thing. That's grim. Losing tonight to the Bucks seems like it would cut that significantly too.

I'm glad we have the Bulls around for comic relief. Why would you care at all that he wants to go to Golden State?

But why?

Because you could have something like the last two days happen and GS gets eliminated from February Franticness by the Heat or Magic and that rules

Those 80s Bucks teams are some of the best forgotten teams in NBA history. 7 straight 50 win seasons, lost 3 conference finals yet no one remembers a thing about them

People forget how much Ray Allen was kind of a do-it-all player back in the Big Dog / Cassell / Allen big-3 days. Dude slashed, cut, drove, dunked, acrobatically laid it up, etc.
