Don't know about PS5 but for Roku and Amazon, it was the platform providers that were being obstinate dicks. HBO claims they had Max apps ready for Roku and Fire before they launched the service.

At the time, I didn't (and still don't) understand all the hype/anti-hype. After seeing the Disney version, I think it's pretty well-produced and has some good numbers. Definitely takes a huge number of historic liberties.
