They've got the guy that lied about being at the WTC on 9/11. Clearly the show was going to be poo poo

Giri / Haji is one of the best things I've seen in a while. If you like cop stuff that is funny and doesn't take itself too seriously (or does it?) and enjoy Japan/England then I 1000% suggest you check it out. Netflix. Also watched The Virtues because I wanted something hard-hitting and I the final episode left me gasping for air. poo poo was insane. Stephen Graham is an incredible actor.

Warrior Nun was garbage. 10 episodes to do absolutely nothing. One of the big 'twists' was that a priest had sleeve tats. gently caress that show.

I used to go to the movies on Tuesday for the cheap tickets. Saw Parasite at like 2pm with five others. I wish I would've invited them to get a drink and discuss the movie because clearly they had their priorities straight. This was way before the hype too. Movies should be communal experiences!

Whenever you wanna get poo poo done put your phone in Airplane Mode + chuck it in a drawer. We're so conditioned that we literally suffer when we don't have the drat thing with us. It's gross.

New Nick Frost and Simon Pegg thing on Amazon Prime Video where Frost leads a team of goofy Youtube ghost hunters who stumble onto some real paranormal conspiracy poo poo. At least I think that's the idea. I binged it this week. It is really fun! Every episode has a different "case" but they'll all tie in together. There are also some cool cameos that you'll enjoy. Good show and there should certainly be a S2

Class Warcraft posted:I’ve watched three episodes of Gangs of London now and I’m still not sure if I like it or not. The fight scenes are as good as you’d expect from the guy who directed The Raid, but it takes itself way too seriously and some of the writing makes me physically cringe it’s so bad. You just gotta turn your brain off. There are so many backstabbing fuckers on that show to make anyone roll their eyes. I finished it and I was kinda checked out by the end, but it's better than a lot of stuff out there!
