If the last week of mass protests end up also being super spreader events, I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up getting hit with the 2nd wave in the next week or so, unfortunately.

Something like 10% of the NYPD tested positive for COVID and those guys ain't wearing masks. They're then arresting people by the hundreds and throwing them into overcrowded holding facilities. Wave 2 is gonna be huge.

I don't believe the toothpaste is ever gonna go back in the bottle, so once things open up there's less than 0% chance of it closing again. So this might just be a vision of what wrestling shows are gonna be like for a while, second wave or not.

I completely understand the mindset at this point. With all the protests and huge crowds, we're going to see a monstrous surge in cases. With everyone going on in the last few days, for a few hours I actually kind of forgot there was a pandemic going on.

Danny Havoc was a goddamn legend. Any time I had the chance to see him in CZW I got more than my money's worth. I am saddened to learn of his passing. RIP Danny.

Years ago, Danny was a part of a Chikara Young Lions Cup. I think he was against Arik Cannon in the first round. He came out to a weird hymn, shook the hands of all 50 people in the crowd, myself included, and proceeded to get absolutely demolished by Cannon. It was crazy, violent, and unlike anything I’d experienced before. His charisma wasn’t what you’d expect from standard pro wrestling, but you had to see what he’d do next.

Not that it makes his death any more or less tragic but Havoc was one of the handful of deathmatch guys when I was watching CZW that I actually enjoyed. Again, his death wouldn't be any sadder if I thought he sucked but thinking of him for the first time in years does give me a little smile in the sadness.

My favorite Danny Havok memory was a Masters of Pain tournament in West Virginia, where he comes running out of the "entrance area" and just slips and falls on his rear end, he was laughing with everyone else there too, and was a really funny dude to hang around.

If you want to see Will Ospreay dance to Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk, this is your match.
