Path of exile has too much and the game actually has a loot filter included in its base. The historical base genre of rogue likes always had too much and squelch features were common . It’s just a function of the genre

Flaks stealth ability is so good. You can hang back and pick out the important target and go in an Nuke them with shotguns to the body. I made it to the second planet yesterday and am impressed with the level design and art already. I like how the heavies are so much more easy to hit. I also like how bad guys react to getting shot.

That’s not what exception that proves the rule means. It’s just an exception to your general conclusion that you can’t account for. It detracts from your argument (not too bad) it doesn’t support your argument You can’t say all apples are red and point to a green apple and say that supports my argument that apples are all red
