Yeah, the first game feels a lot more like gallows humor and I generally prefer it’s tone. I also really dislike how the second game basically retconned the entire plot of the first game for a cheap twist I did a slightly more thorough look through the trailer and what I’m really excited about is that the shotguns seem to be not the bullshit they were in 2

The problem with jack in tps is that it reframes his motives in 2 as being driven by revenge which makes him a lot less interesting as a villain. it also paints the vault hunters in a worse light and just overall is a bad time

I like how the demand of no exclusivity came before a reasonable workplace also the whole “we have a 15 hour story done” like games are made linearly and only one thing at a time is being worked on the sad thing is that the working conditions are probably a lot worse than what the post describes but gamers don’t care about that as long as they can buy the game on steam

One thing I was hoping for BL1 enhanced was that the pieces of gear that were busted or not working as intended but I found a plague and it’s still called crux so I’m gonna assume they’re all borked for good A moment of silence for plague, penetrator, executioner, draco, and revolution Please let me know if I’m mistaken

You definitely want to start UVHM decked out and with a really tight build I’d also strongly recommend the UVHM rebalance mod which reduces enemy health by a lot and nerfs slag to the ground (this is a good thing). It’s not necessary and I’ve gotten to OP levels without it but it just makes everything a lot less frustrating

TPS has the best final boss imo but the dahl jet you fight before it is possibly the worst boss in any game i've ever played, except for maybe supreme calamitas but that doesn't really count

Rakk hive is nowhere near as bad, and it was truly impressive at the time with its scale. It also has the cool lore implications when you realize how many of those are dormant around pandora when you recognize them all over the place on your second play through.
