I love that the Knoxx glitch is still in.: I also forgot how good  was in BL1, Torgue SMGs are the absolute tits unless your RNG a better ATLAS which never seems to happen.e: Now that I think on it I'm not sure ATLAS even makes SMGs or if I've ever seen one. This is so much more fun than the early weapons in BL2 or TPS. There's that, and turning around to shoot the psycho you just heard spawn right behind you and it turns out he's a badass.

Playing TPS for the first time and Nisha's action skill is the best thing since Krieg. I can also confirm that the driving is miserable.

Playing through them chronologically, first time playing TPS. It's not bad but there's definitely something off about it. Everything is basically the same, but it somehow has lost the Borderlands vibe, and I don't think it has to do with the Oxygen / jumping stuff. I can't really put my finger on it, but toward the end I was disregarding most of the side content and B-lining for the main quest. This feeling was confirmed when I fired up BL2 and even the drat glacier felt so much better than TPS. Nisha was funny, though. (When asphyxiating) "I'm normally into this but....."

Hammerlock is a fun character because he's cool and gay, but doesn't feel the need to remind me that he's gay in every single interaction unlike some moon dwelling Australian girls I met.

Now that I'm into BL2 a ways I notice one factor a lot more about TPS: The enemies had very little character. The psychos and nomads are screaming nonsensical and funny poo poo at me while I blow them away in BL2 - but I remember virtually none of that from TPS. Either that or it was so bland that I didn't even notice. Even the Bullymongs seem to have more personality than those splitting rocklizards when they pick up outrageously large objects to toss at me.

Don't forget the Knoxx glitch still works too! Sadly those highways still exist.

Doesn't explicitly mean she's a Siren but if she was you'd think at least one character would mention it. I thought she levitated the key pieces together? I guess the key itself could have done it.

I played the poo poo out of BL2 back when it was new-ish and through all the DLC. For some reason I never played and glossed over anarchy Gaige. This feels like cheating.

Cryo was one of the things I liked about TPS so I'm fine with that. So Slag has become Nuke, and it also does damage?

Any element that makes them take increased damage will be mandatory at the highest levels. Slag or Nuke, it's going to run into the same problems of either being a dedicated gun or a mandatory build - both of which kinda suck. A better idea would be to have each elemental effect do something unique which can compliment playstyles. Have shock stun them briefly for easier crits, corrosive slows them and applies a heavier DoT, fire applies a DoT that can spread or set off nearby barrels, cryo freezes them and grants a melee only follow-up bonus, etc.

Then my regular shield goes down and blows up in a cryo nova. Then you die and blow up in a cryo nova. (All done while running very fast with insane bonus damage and recharging all my HP and shields constantly)

The gameplay looks slick as poo poo and I'm excited for this even if Scooter and Zed are nowhere they should be. Honestly the only point I didn't like was Claptrap's new voice which is a minor and stupid complaint.
