I've also had skags grab my Tediore gun on a reload (where it turns into a proximity mine) and try to bring it back to me like a dog playing fetch.

Little things like that really add to the fun of this game.

The Moxxi DLC in particular is easily soloable. You can always farm Graveward but I find that boring. Or maybe there's another goon in here with a bloodletter that plays on Xbox!

Bloodletter is supposedly dropped by the Skag of Survival too, though I have yet to get it from him.

Fun fact: you can one shot the Skag of Survival with a Flakker it knocks him out of the arena. However, he won't drop anything if you do that. I learned that one today.

So I was able to get a level 53 Flakker for my Moze fairly quickly doing Slaughter Shaft, but now I gotta reacquire level 53 items for the rest of my build.

Does the reset side quests thing work for the collect-a-thing world quests? I'd like a level 53 Burning Scovile but really don't want to have to start another playthrough.

Finally got to sit down with the updated game/DLC today. A) I love having the legendaries in the vending machines. It's made updating my loadout much easier. And B) I'm waiting for the nerf on the Anarchy gun. On my Moze that gun is WAY to OP. Between it's stacks and Moze's, once it gets going I end up one-shotting enemies from across the area. Not complaining, but I see that getting changed very soon.

You can hit all the shards on both sides from the mainland with a sniper rifle. You might be shooting at a small portion of either of the back shards, but that's what I did and it saved a lot of hassle.

Yeah, the Transformer is one of the best (arguably the best) shields in the game. Having all shock damage charge your shield is pretty incredible. There's also an assault rifle that does small amounts of self-shock damage while you fire it, so you're constantly healing your shield as long as you hold the trigger down.

Alternatively, you can charge your shield by throwing shock grenades at your feet. Or (and this really helps in the Circles of Slaughter) kill enemies who exclusively do shock damage last so they follow you around and act as your personal medics during long fights.

So many possibilities... :allears:

The shock version of the Handsome Jackhammer is great for this. Only problem is it doesn't to a ton of damage, so you end up going through a ton of ammo to take down tougher baddies.

So today I found an anointed Anarchy where it adds 1% damage for every consecutive hit. Apparently that stack, plus the gun's reload/kill stack, plus my Moze's damage stacks break the gun because it didn't stack at all. Like, not even Moze's kill stacks worked until I switched it out. Weird.

Goddamn, this game has become almost unplayable due to the frame rate bug. Also, the checkpoints at the Villa don't work if you have to go back to the main menu to reset the frame rate bug. I had to start back at the entrance and run past everyone to get back to the fountain.

I hope we don't have to wait until Thursday for the fix.

Also, I found a fire flakker, which at first I was excited for with my Moze, but is largely useless on mayhem 5 with everyone having armor/shields.

Btw, don't do an arena fight with cartels enabled. A friend and I tried Slaughterstar 3000 on M5 and so many legendaries dropped that it started seriously messing with the game. On the plus side, I think every single legendary gun dropped.

I learned that today too. One Slaughter shaft round took forever because the enemies were effectively doubled because of the cartel spawns every few kills.

Dunno if they did a secret hotfix, but I didn't encounter the frame rate issue tonight during an hour and a half session with my Yellowcake Moze build farming the Scraptraps. Also ran the Villa with no problems (tonight was the first Villa run through without the issue occuring).

The one thing I did notice is that bosses seem to now be extra tough. I'm on Mayhem 7 and Joey in the Villa is fine, but outside of there I just chip away at the boss' health and can't do decent damage.

Fun gun, ammo consumption high

Speaking of, farmed Katagawa yesterday on M7 (his death scene takes longer than the actual fight when using the OPQ with the 300% damage boost). Got myself a corrosive Sandhawk that absolutely melts everything as it has the 1% damage stack annoint. Even with my ammo regen Moze it still eats up ammo, tho.

Between that, Yellowcake, and the OPQ, I was thinking of bumping up to a higher mayhem level, but the side effects of the next levels look so unfun I don't even know if I should bother.

So I've realized that an Iron Bear centered Moze build isn't going to scale well into the higher Mayhems well. I respec'd into a blood-soaked shields with gun damage sort of build. Damage still seems not quite there. Do I just need better gear? Sadly the bulk of the new annointments are worthless on Moze, namely the ones that only work with an active action skill. I only noted the anointments that do anything in my list

Guns:
-OPQ
-NoPewPew: [Anointed] +150% rad damage when under 50% health
-Yellowcake

Frontloader Shield
Bloodletter class mod
Deathless artifact

That's similar to my M7 Moze build except I have few less in the red and more in blue. I also use an OPQ with the 300% damage over 90% health annoint (which wrecks anyone with shields and can kill Katagawa in 5 seconds if I aim correctly at the start of the battle), a corrosive Sandhawk with the 1% damage stack annoint, and an unannointed high damage yellwcake (haven't found a good annointed one yet). I also have a deathless artifact that increased splash radius and radiation damage (which leads to occasionally downing myself if I'm not careful with the Yellowcake).

I'm able to hold my own quite comfortably in M7, but Iron Bear is still pretty useless over being a safeguard to jump into when the shields get low.

I found quite a great shield for Moze:

What makes this great is that if you jump out of Iron Bear, the cooldown before you can get back in is based on how much fuel you have left when you jump out.

So if you jump in and immediately jump out, your cooldown is much less than 25 seconds.

Your Iron Bear's health is based on Moze's health.

So if you jump into Iron Bear before a big fight or Circle of Slaughter, immediately jump out to proc the +75% health, you can then jump back in shortly after, giving you a massive health boost:

The shield is also great because it gives you a bunch of extra protection during a fight while you kill to decrease your Iron Bear's cooldown.

It's also great for farming Killavolt as most of his attacks are shock attacks.

I can even snipe Haunt's phylacteries from across the stage with my cryo light show, which is not something that the light show can usually do. Just one hit and poof, destroyed.
