This feels like a new Stargate reboot. Not just because of Martouf playing the leader, but his people also don't use contractions so everyone sounds like every human settlement in Stargate. The guards also carry around sticks like the Jaffa.

The black prime girl said something like "don't let me be trapped behind the glass" or something like that in reference to the cryo freeze story. So I don't think it has to be permanent.

I love how the natives don't underestimate the 100 crew. They know they are dangerous and will burn everything down. Clarke, Bellamy and the rest really are the bad guys in any other show.

Despite the setting being a whole new planet it felt really small and stifling. I feel like there were only like 3 sets the whole season.
