I can eat four or five usually. Less if there's also pizza. My brother, on the other hand, once 'broke Roger Maris's record' by putting away 68 wings at a Quaker Steak & Lube on a 5 cent wing night.

Caesar Saladin posted:34 chickens, that's like an entire room full of chickens. 17! You can get two drums and two flats from each chicken. So only half a room of chickens, but it was still a massacre.

Drunk Nerds posted:I converted this to a small batch and am going to try it tonight, thanks! About how long does it take after the heat is off to get fat on top? I went by your conversion to make it for Buffalo cauliflower for dinner tonight, and it came out great. I did fudge it a little bit because I was short on Red Hot, but thank you for doing the measurement scaling so I didn't have to. Even though I grew up in Buffalo, if my family made 'Buffalo sauce' it was just butter and Red Hot nuked in a little ramekin

Philthy posted:About 12 normal sized wings. There's a pho place by me that serves the entire wing, and they're delightfully crispy; no sauce on them, but they come with lime wedges and a little cup of spices that you sprinkle on them. They're different, but it's a good flavor. The slice of bread is probably in there to soak up the steam coming off the hot chicken so the wings don't get soggy.
