I don't think it's explicitly stated, but since Fuches doesn't seem to give a poo poo about who gets killed it seems pretty likely.

Yeah but we don't actually see that kill or know what the context was. Semantics, I know, but relevant for a tv show.

I feel like sometime in S1 I knew Fuches was tricking him into killing decent people and lying about who they were but I forgot til it came up here.

edit: haha wtf is this next episode, this ninja girl

double edit: that episode was fun but i felt like the girl made it feel very little like an episode of Barry, took away some of the realism of the show, but it was funny i'll give them that

I watched the first season of Patriot and ehhh... Maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind for it, but it was just so depressing. It had it's moments, and I liked the weird humor and the actiony bits, but it just felt roo slow in between interesting scenes. The main character is such a sad sack and sabotages himself in such inexplicable ways, like his refusal to show Leslie the slightest bit of respect. I'm not sure if I'll watch season 2 -- I like the premise and some of it is gold, like almost anything with Dennis, but ehhh....

I adore Stephen Root and what he brings to Fuchs, but yeah, the character is a POS and the only way I can see Barry making a normal life for himself right now would be, well... Also, if I may make a prediction based in how I'd maybe write it: If and when he does finally kill Fuchs, it may somehow wind up being the kill that brings him down. He finally gets so close, then.... But that's just me--got issues with catharsis in my work.

e: Also, "Oh, yes, Bari. I am washing Burmese right out of my hair. ...Team Badass. C'mon. Kicking rear end, making names. ... I'm man of my word, okay? I am Honest Gabe." Oh Haank :allears:

The way that Barry represents the drama/comedy dichotomy of theatre is really incredible. I can't think of another tv show that pulls it off so effortlessly.

I'm operating on the assumption that Hank will probably be okay somehow. Considering how Fuchs survived season one, I figure something ridiculous and probably (at least) mildly violent will deus ex machina him to safety. Banking on the obvious (Team Badass), myself.
